In British Columbia, he pushed for expanded co-op and student employment funding, a cap on tuition increases, and more accessible, equity-based grants.
At UBC, Saad emphasized the importance of unified undergraduate and graduate student advocacy. He helped formalize a collaborative partnership between the AMS and the Graduate Student Society, leading to a coordinated lobbying week that strengthened the student voice on issues such as housing, renter protections, and mental health.
